Common Area Cisco Phone to Teams Migration

First, provision the phone:
- Put in ticket for migrating Cisco phone to teams.
Provide phone model number, MAC.
2. Open IPv4 configuration settings on phone: (Settings > Admin Settings > Network Configuration > IPv4 Address Settings
Change TFTP Server 1 to:
3.14.211.49
Ensure TFTP Server 2 is Blank
Select Apply
Select Erase
Note: After selecting Erase above wait approximately 25 Seconds for Phone to Restart and Prompt "Ready For Upgrade". Phone Will Reboot
3. Hook up phone to VOIP VLAN (any group, DHCP)
Phone restarts and pulls new Teams image. (takes approximately 3 min to start)
4. Get IP address of phone from IPv4 configuration settings in the Phone (Settings > Network Configuration > IPv4 Address Settings > Change Connection Type to Static IP)
Open browser, type in IP address of phone
In the top right select Admin Login, and Advanced

Select the Voice Tab, then select the Provisioning tab beneath it.
In Profile Rule insert:
http://noam.ipp.sdg.teams.microsoft.com/en/$PSN.xml

Select the Voice Tab, then select the Regional Tab beneath it.
In Daylight Saving Time Rule insert:
start=3/8/7/02:0:0;end=11/1/7/02:0:0;save=1

Click Submit All Changes At Bottom (Phone Will Reboot)
5. After phone resets, there will be an amber status light at top left of the phone. When this light turns green select Sign In and verify that the screen shows a pair code.
If status light does not turn green (or is flashing amber):
- Reset phone and if no change, proceed to next step
- Factory reset phone remotely via http://"IP-Address"/admin/factory-reset (Replace “IP-Address” with the IP of the phone) or manually factory reset the phone. https://nbtsupport.nucor.com/support/solutions/articles/19000129890
- Repeat the Profile Rule change from Step 4

Provision the account:
BE SURE THAT THE PHONE IS PROVISIONED AND TEAMMATES ARE AWARE IT IS BEING MIGRATED
Before starting routing job, take note of the phone number, area location, and all routing behaviors of the line (check Akkadian)
- Submit a ticket using the following FreshService request:
Request Teams Common Area Device Routing (Individual) | NBT - Nucor Business Technology
Format request as follows:

- Verify that the ticket is successful by observing the following ticket responses:

- This request creates an account formatted as such:
- Username: Phone.NSMEM.RollMillSupervisor@nucor.com
- Password: NSMEMCAP01!
- Verify that the account was created by logging into: https://aka.ms/siplogin
(in an incognito tab so that it doesn’t autologin)
- Set up the pre-provisioned shared phone from the provisioning steps above, and click Sign In
- Input the provided Pair Code on the signed siplogin page, and the phone will reset.
- Provision phone line by performing the Akkadian routing jobs
- Verify with a test call.
